mom! you're great!

In 1908 a woman named Anna Jarvis suggested that her Philadelphia church hold a special service to honor mothers. The tradition soon spread, and in 1914 President Woodrow Wilson declared the second Sunday in May to be Mother’s Day throughout the United States. Each year in our church we dedicate our Mother's Day service to the women in our church.

Each women received a free potted flower!
